Tuesday is hanging in there. She continues to grow and develop, but she is still also going through cold sweats and her color is very pale, bordering on blue-ish. At the same time, she is smiling fairly often, watching the teddy bear mobile on her swing and making lots of noises at me when i talk to her. I gave her a bath the other night and i'll post pictures of that sometime. Maybe tomorrow. I promise nothing.

She has an appointment with her pediatrician tomorrow. What will come of that i haven't the foggiest idea. Her doctor is an intensely nice woman who has actually called us just to say hi. She has arranged for us to see the GI people (gastro-intestine, or something thereabouts) to see if Tuesday can get a stomach tube, then we could get rid of her easily yanked out nose tube. If you come over to our house and notice our baby wearing socks on her hands know that it is because she claws, viciously, at her own face, probably in an attempt to lower the number of tubes coming out of her nose. I don't blame her, but man, sometimes it looks like she's trying to get her eyeball out of its socket. We're also going to meet with some speech therapy people to see about the possibility of Tuesday bottle feeding. This apparently involves giving her some formula, in a bottle, that is laced with borium and then taking chest x-rays to see where the milk (or, in this case, borium) ends up. Appetizing, yes?

That's all for now.

Thank you all for your caring and your support. It's become something of a joke with us that we have an enormous amount of thank-you carding to do.
